HydroMan is a stand-alone 3D software program for designing hydraulic manifolds. By importing schematics from HydroSym, HydroMan helps you produce accurate, error-free manifold designs.
It’s not essential, but it’s helpful: when you design a hydraulic manifold based on a HydroSym schematic, the relevant data is automatically exported to HydroMan.
HydroSym’s configured components let you select the relevant drilling models and cavity tooling during the design phase, allowing HydroMan to place the right information automatically. With the accurate information in place, you can easily create the correct connections and design the desired layout.
Yes, you can design a hydraulic manifold in HydroMan without a HydroSym schematic. First, select the correct components and group from the Paro Component Library. Then, HydroMan will help you create an optimal design in a similar way to using a HydroSym schematic.
Yes. Details from HydroMan can easily be exported to frequently used CAD programs including Inventor, SolidEdge, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PTC Creo, FreeCAD, and many others.
The Paro Component Library includes over one million hydraulic components. If your component, cavity, hole or pattern is not available you can create your own and add these; or we can add them for you, free of charge. Just email us on library@paro.nl.

No, you do not have to work with two screens. However, most users find it easiest to work with two screens.
HydroMan is not based on heavy 3D programs, so the requirements concerning hardware are relatively low. A simple PC with Windows is sufficient, but we recommend using a graphics card with two ports.
No. HydroMan is a fully stand-alone software solution developed by our expert hydraulic and software engineers. This means you don’t need any additional programs, plug-ins, or extensions to use HydroMan and design flawless hydraulic manifolds.
No. Our software is built from scratch using our own expertise and customer feedback. We believe hydraulic manifold design requires a specialized tool.
